Couldn’t help myself

Amidst the boredom of reading, doing yard work, and knocking out the honey-do-list I just kept feeling like I was missing something.

I found it, I had do do a little unpacking from what I packed away to move, and lo and behold I found what I was looking for! My painting supplies!

Fortunately I did an inventory sheet of all the boxes I packed which made it easy, I only needed to open 1 tote! I had my easels piled in a corner and set up a 6 foot table and stated to scratch my itch, fill in the emptiness haunting my subconscious, put my hands to work – well, you get the idea!

Here are two that I just completed this week the first is a 20″w x 16″t acrylic painting of Placencia Beach, Belize, specifically the area around the Barefoot Beach Bar. My son Dr. Josh took allot of pictures when he was there and I picked areas from several different to make this. Title – I don’t know, help me out!!

The second is something my wife has been begging me to do for a while and I was hesitant because I have always felt the animals are such a beautiful beast that I was afraid I would do it injustice. What do you think? It is a 14″W x 11″t acrylic of a white tiger.

Well, that’s it for today. I hope everyone is staying safe and doing they’re social distancing! Until next time!

  1. They are both great Chuck. You haven’t lost your touch. Hope all is well. I’m still getting older. Not sure if that is good or bad. Bob
